Our crews are available for wild land fire suppression. All crews arrive on a fire better equipped than required by our BC Standing Offer Agreement and are self sufficient for the first 24 hours. Upon request, we can supply pumps, hose, water tanks, and fuel.
We hold agreements with: the Kamloops Fire Centre based out of Barriere, BC, the South-East Fire Centre based out of Invermere, BC and hold an Interagency Fire Crew Agreement for Washington State, based out of Oroville, WA.
We have agreements with several forest companies to assist with fire suppression in their interest areas.
Boulder Mountain can provide prescribed burning services, including, crew, Burn Boss and equipment for all stages of burning: everything from assessment and preparation through ignition, suppression and mop-up.
In addition to exceeding WorkSafe BC’s first-aid requirements for our own crews, we hold first-aid services agreements with both the Kamloops and the South-East Fire Centres. Our equipment includes two Mobile Treatment Centres stocked to First-Aid Room standards and mounted on 4X4 pickups. Every Boulder Mountain squad is staffed with at least one OFA L3 first-aid attendant.
